Join Kimberly for a kundalini and Qi Gong inspired flow to raise the energy, calm the mind, and ground the body and spirit. The practice will begin with a kundalini meditation, move into a vinyasa sequence inspired by a specific healing kriya, and end with a Qi gong practice for unconditional love. Classes are open to all levels and abilities. This class will be fun and engaging, while also deeply connecting us to our own hearts where unconditional love can be found.

In September, we will begin a journey through the chakras, working our way up from the first through the seventh. We will focus on one chakra each month in our kriya and meditation. In April, May and June, we’ll work on “Awakening the Ten Bodies”.

We will be combining two short, but intense, kriyas for the first chakra: Kriya for the Lower Spine and Elimination and Working on the Lower Spine. We’ll end with a “Medical Meditation for the Lower Triangle of Chakras (To Repair Stress Damage).
As always, try to finish eating an hour to an hour and a half before class and bring water!

I am sure you have all heard the news of Irma and how it devastated the US Virgin Islands. Irma was still a CAT 5 when it hit St. John and right now all the schools are gone, a lot are homeless and many are suffering. St. John holds a special place in my heart so I am offering a 90 min all levels class on Sunday 10/15 at 2pm in Ramsey to raise money for St. John Rescue. These are the local first responders. Any amount will be accepted and appreciated and 100% of the proceeds will go to St. John!!. The island has been devastated (even that term can't describe what happened). If you can't make the class, but want to donate, there will be a jar at the Ramsey studio to accept donations. I hope you can join us.

Anatomy? Hmmmm… that sounds pretty boring…. But… If you are a yoga practitioner you know the importance of keeping this body of ours feeling good and are always looking to improve your practice. If you are a teacher you know that improving your anatomy knowledge can invaluably improve your teaching skills. Learning more about how the body moves, and getting a more intimate knowledge of exactly what is going on as you practice asana is the primary aim of this workshop. Another opportunity to get to know yourself a little bit better! This will be part talk and part hands on. On the first weekend we will explore the skeletal system with emphasis on the spine and finish up with a brief overview of joints and the muscular system. The second weekend will focus on the hips and the third weekend on the shoulders. You can sign up for all 3 or just the ones that interest you. If you think anatomy is boring this will be boring, but if you are open to having some fun with it, please join me.

These workshops are open to all levels of practitioners with a desire to delve deeper into their practice and learn more about what we are made of.
