Ashtanga and Vinyasa Yoga Intensive 

Deepen your practice and guidance skills. Gain insight into the art of postural framework, flow and progression while cultivating focus on inner energetic form.

Participants will learn Classical Hatha Framework, Ashtanga Vinyasa formula and creative Vinyasa flow sequencing patterns. Learn to guide breath and movement with focus on inner form. Focus is on principles of good body mechanics, alignment, sequencing and intention.

In this class, we will do two short kriyas. The first one is the Kriya to Increase Your Mental and Physical Radiance, which helps to strengthen the whole nervous system, increase circulation and stimulate the life force.
The second kriya is the Kriya for Strengthening the Stomach, which helps to restore the stomach to health.
Please finish eating at least an hour before the class.

August 25, 2017
In this class, we will do the “Nineteen Seventy One Series”, which Yogi Bhajan taught in 1971. It appealed to me because it uses many types of body movements and is a complete workout.
