A comprehensive program perfect for yoga instructors, classroom educators, administrators, counselors, or anyone that has a love for yoga and wishes to bring it to children and/or teens.

The Yoga Synthesis Children/Teen teacher training program is a 95 hour Yoga Alliance accredited program. It utilizes the practice of yoga, mindfulness, and conscious breath work and prepares trainees to teach children of all ages.

Additional Hours

  • 18 hours practicum which includes observation, reading, mentorship and assisting

  • 10 hours focusing on chosen elective

  • Age appropriate asana (postures), pranayama (breathwork), relaxation, mindfulness and focusing techniques.

  • Yoga based games, partner and group poses, activities and chanting.

Prerequisites

Candidates for admission into the Yoga Synthesis Children/Teen Teacher Training should have at least 2 years currently consistent yoga practice and a basic understanding of yogic principles. Candidates should have a desire to bring the gift of yoga to our youth. To insure the integrity of the learning experience, all candidates must receive prior approval of the instructor.

Tuition/Registration

Group discount for three or more teachers from the same school ($100 off for each participant). Full Tuition is $1395. A completed application, along with a deposit check in the amount of $500 payable to Yoga Synthesis, is required for registration. Payment in full prior to commencement of training is preferred but payment plans are available. All payments are due by the end of the training. Cost of books are not included except the training manual.

Refund Policy

Withdrawal refund prior to start date, $500. Thereafter, refunds are determined on an individual basis, depending upon time spent in the training, cost of training materials, etc. The Yoga Synthesis Teacher Training Manual and Manual Supplement are the property of Yoga Synthesis and must be returned to Yoga Synthesis upon withdrawal from program.
